Edwina Moore (Bolshinsky)
I was born in Melbourne but spent quite a few of my formative years in SE Asia. I completed my secondary school education in Brisbane, although spent time at schools in the UK and France. I was awarded my BMedSci and MBBS with First Class Honours from the University of Tasmania in 2006. Always keen to do surgery, I moved back to Melbourne for internship and general surgery training primarily at The Alfred Hospital and its satellite facilities. I got my FRACS in 2016 following which I spent a year as a fellow of acute general surgery at the Royal Hobart Hospital. For the past two and half years I have undertaken an extended fellowship in endocrine surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in America with my husband (also a surgeon) and our two small children, Frederick (5), Adele (2). I'm particularly interested in parathyroid disease and familial endocrine cancers. Outside of work I like to run, cook, shop and hang out with my family.
